In an inspiring call to action, Venugopal Naidu Puvvada, Trustee and National Coordinator- Tech and Innovation at Rashtriya Gau Sevak Sangh (RGSS), has appealed to citizens across India to unite and join the ongoing Gau Rashtra Yatra 2025.
To revive the foundational values of Gau-aadharit Bharat, Gau Rashtra Yatra, a spiritual and socio-cultural movement, was started by Bharat Singh Rajpurohit, Narendra Kumar, Venugopal Naidu Puvvada, and Rohit Bisht. A 61-day nationwide pilgrimage covering 10,000+ Kms was flagged off on June 15, 2025, from Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, after receiving blessings from saints and spiritual leaders. The purpose of this Yatra is to raise awareness about the sacred and economic significance of the indigenous cows in the Indian ecosystem and to demand strong protection laws for cows.
Venugopal Naidu Puvvada stated, “The Gau Rashtra Yatra, an initiative of Rashtriya Gau Sevak Sangh, is a movement to reconnect our society with the divine, ecological, and economic value of the indigenous cow. I humbly invite every citizen, be it farmers, youths, technologists, social workers, women, and saints, to come forward and participate in Gau Rashtra Yatra. By joining hands, we can lay the foundation for a Gau-aadharit Bharat that is sustainable, self-reliant, and spiritually awakened.”
Under his tech leadership, Venugopal Naidu Puvvada has driven digital transformation within Gau Rashtra Mission, connecting 25 lakh citizens online, mapping 5000+ gaushalas, and mobilising ₹100 crore worth of support for cow protection and rural movement. His tech-centric approach has amplified outreach and enabled digital engagement like never before in the history of Gauseva.
Venugopal Naidu Puvvada said, “We believe that this Gau Rashtra Yatra will empower communities with cow-centric entrepreneurship, driving both spiritual revival and economic independence in rural Bharat. This Yatra underscores critical issues such as the need for sustainable cow shelter ecosystems, promoting a cow-based rural economy as a solution to agrarian distress, raising awareness about the benefits of A2 bilona ghee, making strategies to control cow abandonment, etc.”
